Dear Mom, Dad, Family and Friends,                                                

This last week, we went on a blitz exchange…in Cincinnati…for a day and half with Elder Taylor Loosli  and Elder McMichael it was the bomb!!! I had a lot of fun! Taylor is a District Leader and is so stinking knowledgeable about the gospel…its crazy!

Oh…BIG NEWS…the Ohio Columbus Mission is splitting!!!!

They are re-doing the Cincinnati mission!

Nobody knows what mission they will be in until the next couple transfers =S

 It’s apparently on the church news!

We have been having a difficult time finding new investigators…=/ The Lord must be testing us... or we just haven't figured out exactly what we need to do!

We had a spiritual experience yesterday!

Saturday night as we were planning I looked on the map and saw a part member family. I said lets go see the Mustard's (I changed the name because I believe we aren't suppose to share the names of the people we are working with). Elder Birch was a Little hesitant.... well we put them on the plans to go see them after church. We got out at 1:00 pm… well after church. We were held up with some Branch business until 2:00  Elder Birch was thinking we should go maybe knock doors before our lunch appointment at 3:00.  The Mustard's were stuck in my mind and I said “well lets just drop by and see them”   

We asked a little about them… and found out that nobody has gotten in the door for a year… which was pretty discouraging. But we decided that we would still go try to see them.  We drove past the Mustard's place and parked the mini van ( that's what we drive now).  We walked up to his side walk and made it a couple steps…when his front door opened and there stood Mr. Mustard!  Mr. Mustard said “come on in Elders” We went in and had a good talk with him…found out his wife was a non member and also was battling with cancer. She has been under going some Leukemia treatments. 

We asked if we could help out with anything and he said that he would like us to pray for her.  As we were talking I felt the impression to ask him if they needed a blessing…as I was thinking about it…Elder Birch spoke my thoughts …Mr. Mustard said that he was actually thinking about the same thing! Mr. Mustard said it might take a couple weeks before he can talk to her about it but he believed she needed a blessing as well!

Now here are the miracle parts!...

When we left Elder Birch said to me, "That for the last 6 months that he has been in this area… he had been trying to get in contact with that family. They had knocked on the door for a month… everyday on a different hour just trying to contact them."   

Well, Mr. Mustard told us towards the end of our visit…that he thought it was pretty neat that we showed up right when we did...Apparently he was just thinking about how he hadn't seen the Missionaries for a long while… went to look outside …then he saw us on his side walk. 

Man the spirit is awesome!  Mr. Mustard said that he has been wanting to come back to church for a while and now we can help him!  And his wife!
